China Taier Labs officially announced that it recently issued the first domestic Taier fast wireless charging capability certificate to Xiaomi’s Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, and rated it as a “Five-star Product with Fast Wireless Charging Capability”.
The Mi 10 Pro is equipped with a -10°C ultra-low temperature rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500mAh, which supports triple fast charging: 50W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging, 10W wireless reverse charging, and a standard 65W charger.
According to HIS statistics, the shipment of wireless charging equipment in 2019 is close to 1 billion, and it is now standard for flagship products of various brands.
As early as 2013, Thiel Labs formulated the first domestic wireless charging industry standard (electromagnetic irradiation and electromagnetic compatibility). According to the characteristics of mainstream wireless charging products ON the market, it also launched an evaluation plan for the capability of wireless charging equipment.
The program relies on domestic industry standards, fully considers the needs of the domestic industry for differentiated research and development of this technology, and tests and evaluates products from five dimensions.
1. Wireless charging receiver device performance
In good product design, increasing charging speed cannot come at the expense of safety. This evaluation item fully takes into account the balance between charging speed and charging temperature. Under various temperature conditions, comprehensive tests are carried out for mobile phone terminals with wireless charging function. At the same time, the wireless charging speed is comprehensively compared as a score basis to measure the overall performance.
2. Wireless charging transmitter device performance
Verify and evaluate the input performance index parameters of wireless charging equipment. It mainly includes dynamic input performance index parameters, and whether various metal foreign objects can be accurately identified, and at the same time, the wireless charging performance in different scenarios is measured.
3. Receiver device compatibility
Test the transmission compatibility with transmitter devices of different standards, and record the power and temperature of the working point to ensure that the rated power can still be charged when working with transmitter devices of different configurations.
4. Transmitter device compatibility
Test the transmission compatibility with different receiving end devices, and test the transmission power and temperature parameters when matching with different standard receiving end devices, so as to evaluate the versatility of the product.
5. User experience
The test is divided into two parts, the first part is the effective transmission range of the product, which aims to verify the effective charging area of the product at the rated output power. Make sure that users can still get a good experience even if they cannot be accurately aligned.
The second part is the energy efficiency parameter test of the product, including the no-load and system energy efficiency of the wireless charger. The wireless charging technology not only meets the needs of faster charging, but also conforms to the green concept of energy saving, environmental protection and sustainable development.
